Upgrade Nvidia Drivers

Best way to upgrade Nvidia Drivers Win 10. I've been using Geforce experience. I have 2 PC's one with a 1060 6GB the other a 1070. I had the big problem with 397.31 on the 1060. so I thought I would check myself. searched and the latest is from 2015. I am familiar with DDU. Looks like it's changed a bit. I go into uninstall programs uninstall the graphics driver entry but' what about 3d vision driver and the rest? should I do those and any special order?

I don't use Geforce experience, but just do a manual upgrade when needed. Nvidia doesn't require you to uninstall the old driver first anymore. It does all that in the driver pkg. installation process. But us old-schoolers still like to (at least occasionally) do a DDU uninstall from safe mode first.

I also like to do an occasional run of CCleaner to keep the system and the registry clean and error free.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't know the stand alone installer did a uninstall. That's great. Does it give a clean install option? Thanks
