I'm not planning to buy a new PC at all , so I would like some suggestions , cheap suggestions to upgrade my PC to be able to play CSGO with 60+fps at all times.
My current specs :
Core 2 Duo E8400 3.00ghz
3GB RAM (Will upgrade to 4)
GPU : AMD 7750 2GB GDDR3
MoBo: Intel DG31PR
PSU : 250W

What can I upgrade with a low budget to get more FPS in CSGo , I can play CS GO with 120fps with the Optimal settings but fps drops a lot.
So I play with Low settings and 2X MSAA with 80FPS which still drops below 60 at times.

Any cheap upgrades? 150$ max?

Hi man!

You have a few problems with this build. 1: It is pretty outdated. 2: Your PSU will not be able to support much more than what you currently have. 3: Your motherboard is a socket LGA775, which means you have a outdated upgrade path if you don't have the budget to change motherboard as well. You also have not implied the DDR-type (3 or 2?).

First off, let's talk a bit about CS:GO. It is based on the Source engine, which benefits from a better CPU quite a lot, so that is a obvious upgrade you have to do. Your GPU is most likely getting a bit bottlenecked by your aging core2 Duo. However your GPU is not a king either, so keep that in mind for a future upgrade.

There are two options here:

1: Your cheapest option would be this...

There are two options here:

1: Your cheapest option would be this: Upgrade PSU to a 500 W (Buy a known brand(Cooler Master, Corsair etc. Look for reviews!), don't cheap out on PSU's)) and look for a used Core2 Quad Q9xxx or Core2 Extreme X9xxxx series on Ebay (or similar sites).

2: Save up for more money, and upgrade your PC all the way.

Optional option: You could install Windows 8.1 which is less recourse heavy than Windows 7 in case you are running 7. Also, Windows 8 has been proven to give 5-10% extra performance in most dx10 and dx11 titles, which could boost your PC a bit more.
