Upgrade pc or buy 1050 ti laptop

Solution
IF that is all your planning to play, how can upgrading anything be useful at this point? Those are low end games made to be run on the lowest performing systems, from what I seen of them. Now there is the whole 'twitch' crowd that demands in both games that they be running minimumally "250FPS or better" which is silly, but they swear without it they can't 'twitch' jump insta kill without such performance and willing to run the game at the "lowest crappiest visual settings to gain FPS without performance impact" .

Again it is meet your demands question. If your saying your doing MORE FPS than your monitor (common monitors only do 60HZ, which means any FPS over 60 is DROPPED) can handle (even a 144HZ would be dropping 6FPS to as much...
Well depends what you use it for. I have a old i5 in front of me here at school. While it works it is limited because it cant' really support newer tech (like USB3 or say DDR4 RAM, etc.). Computers are meant to be replaced by the 5th year due to the lack of support, incompatibility, and lack of 'current' features.

If your more into gaming, then the 'cheaper' route is buying a OEM i5 PC, then upgrade (with a 1050 TI or such) with the extra parts you need. Just keep in mind the power demands.

You can buy a laptop with the 1050TI or such built in (they are NOT swappable out), but with the laptop they tend to run 2-3Times more expensive than a desktop. They are limited in performance in comparison, and your 'locked in' you have no upgrade paths normally.

The great advantage is they are portable, any place any time, and even if the power goes out you still have power on your battery to keep going till the power comes back on. So it is your choice which way you want to go and can afford
