Hi,
I have a gaming rig with Intel Xeon e3 1245 v3 and 32 GB ddr3. I have two 980 Ti in SLI. Now I want to be future proof for playing upcoming titles in 1440P. I may upgrade to a 4K later but currently do not have plans. Now I am in a dilemma. Benchmarks show that 1070 performs better than 980ti. So, should I sell my two 980 Tis from evga and buy a pair of 1070s before 980 Tis drop down in price. They have still good value and will require zero extra payments for the 1070 pairs. Another option is to keep the 980Tis and wait for the 1080 Tis. But then the 980 Tis will have much lower price from now.
What are your recommendations?
Thanks.
