[SOLVED] upgrade system

after asking many questions about my failing system i have decided to replace out most of it. tried trouble shooting but not getting anywhere fast. its old so im happy to spend a few quid.
its 7-8 years old now and im not in with whats good and whats not anymore. any advice is good.
current specs:-

NZXT Switch 810
windows 7 pro 64-bit
i5-3570K
Asus P8Z77-V LX
Corsair 8GB 1600MHz CL9 DDR3 Vengeance Memory Two Module Kit
Corsair TX750 V2 750w psu
GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1060 Windforce OC 6gb
Corsair H100
Agility 3 120GB SSD and some big storage hdd's

will keep the gpu as its only 2 years old. everything else to be replaced.
have £500 to spend now and then £200/month thereafter.
would like to replace the psu now as i think thats failing.
any help with a build i can work towards over the coming months.
gaming mainly (bullitstorm, fac cry, wolfenstein, fallout, etc)
good reliable rig i can get another 7 years plus from. mid range not top spec or whatever my budget allows.

Had the same psu but with 850W with 1060 before 2 years i had random shut downs after 5-10mins so i replaced it and the problem was gone even if my system needed only 450W. With 500 £ i believe the best you can go is Ryzen 5 3600 , B450 Tomahawk Max , 2x8 3200Mhz ram and a good quality 650W PSU (look for seasonic PSU's) so you can upgrade that 1060 later.

i have a BenQ GW2750HM 27-inch Full HD LED Monitor. all i have ever known. worth upgrading? noticeable difference? dont know jack about screens

Hard to say if monitor is worth upgrading. With 75hrz is it not bad,read input lag is ~6ms,but don't know if you will feel that. A 1440P @ 144hrz screen would be nice,but are also pretty substantial budget monitors.
Hard to say if you're going to notice the extra pixels and possibly speed of such a monitor. Not everyones eyes work the same.

Think that if you're happy with your current monitor would i just leave it be.
