I am in the middle of upgrading my motherboard, and I am debating upgrading the RAM too. Is it worth upgrading from 64GB to 96GB for heavy gaming and streaming... frequently at the same time?

In your current state, how much ram is being consumed while you game and stream simultaneously?

Speaking of current, please pass on the specs to your current build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

Are you running out of RAM? Possibly not.

Open 'Task Manager' then 'Open Resource Monitor'. Select the 'Memory' tab.

Check 'In Use' RAM (the green bar). Don't worry about 'Standby' (dark blue bar) or 'Free' (light blue bar).

If 'In Use' is less than 48GB, you're probably OK. If programs need loads more RAM, memory will be released from 'Standby'.

Check also the 'Hard Faults/sec' column. If you're seeing continuous high numbers, perhaps you need more RAM.

Already tore the PC apart.

Speaking of current, please pass on the specs to your current build like so:
CPU: 9800X3D
CPU cooler: Alphacool water block
Motherboard: MSI X879E Carbon
Ram: 64GB DDR5 5600 CL28
SSD/HDD: PCIE 5 M.2 SSD
GPU: Zotac RTX 4090 water cooled
PSU: probably upgrading to MSI MEG
Chassis: X 10 I think. It's huge
OS: Win 11
Monitor:. Triple 240hz 1080p
