[SOLVED] Upgrade Windows 7 to Windows 10

I have Windows 7 64bit. I want to upgrade to Windows 10 but I am afraid a lot of the software I use will not be compatible with it. Is there a safe way to upgrade? Like, is there a way to roll it back if I needed to? What do you suggest!? I wanted to do a clean install but a lot of the software is not available anymore.

When you upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7, the install creates a Windows.old folder which contains your previous version of Windows. If your software is not compatible, then you can roll back to Windows 7:

Don't like Windows 10? As long as you've upgraded within the last month, you can uninstall Windows 10 and downgrade your PC back to its original Windows 7 or Windows 8.

Another way is to create a Windows 10 Windows to go drive with WinToUSB https://www.easyuefi.com/wintousb/. You can then load up your software and see if it works.
