Hello

This can be done in a simple way using Media Creation Tool. Although this tutorial explains how to create a Windows 10 bootable USB or DVD, selecting the Upgrade this PC now radio button while executing the tool upgrades your current operating system to Windows 10.

Please note that if not already bought, you need to buy Windows 10's license key to activate the operating system post upgrading.

And always, when doing any major hardware or software upgrade....have a known good backup before you start.

Better to have it and not need it, than to worry about it 5 seconds after it is too late.
