amd ryzen 5 3400g
Do you also have a discrete graphics card ? If not, then you have to stay with a processor ending with "G".
There is a BIOS update that is VERY new -- https://pcsupport.lenovo.com/us/en/...0-64-bit-legion-t530-28apr?category=BIOS/UEFI
I don't know if more CPUs are supported because of this BIOS. Theoretically, the 5xxx series CPUs could be supported.
This post -- https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Gaming...rt-for-Ryzen-5000-Failing-to-boot/m-p/5088629 does not look good for 5000 series CPU support.
I would stick with the 3700X but you HAVE to have a discrete graphics card.

Thx for quick reply and information:)

Have an gtx 1660 super graphics card and thinking this also could be replaced with a better one.
So upgrading to ryzen 7 3700x would be a prober upgrade?

Edit just downloaded and installed new bios.

Make sure the Lenovo power supply can cope with the slightly higher power requirements of a 3700X and a discrete graphics card. If the PSU is rated at significantly less than 300W, the proposed upgrade might not work.

Some proprietary small office desktop computers are fitted with PSUs rated at less than 250W. I have a Dell with a 235W PSU. Some Dell Integrals come with a 190W PSU.

There's also the risk the Lenovo BIOS won't accept a 3700X. Check the Lenovo web site before buying.
