Should I upgrade my AMD FX 4300 quad core to a AMD 8320 8-core CPU? or should I wait a year and save up to get something better?

My current build:

Mobo: MSI 760GM-P34(fx) (was thinking to upgrade to either MSI ATX DDR3 2133 Motherboard 970 GAMING or ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0 AM3+
CPU: AMD 4300(fx) (was thinking to upgrade to AMD FX-8320 AM3+ 3.5GHz)
RAM: XPG V1 DDR3 Memory Modules @ 1333MHz
GPU: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 760 2GB WINDFORCE Video Card
PSU: Corsair CX 750W 80+ Bronze
Storage: 2TB HDD

of course I have to upgrade my mobo as well if I want to upgrade my CPU and that's why I am sceptical if I should upgrade now. I've seen videos with the 8320 and GTX 760 and all I've noticed was probably about a 10+ fps difference and that's pretty much it. I get 30-40 fps with GTA V on very high settings. I have been really giving a lot of thought about this and did some research and found the most affordable upgrades for my current build and now that I think of it, it might not be even worth it but what do you guys think?

If you have to buy a new motherboard anyway, you might as well move on to Intel if you're looking to upgrade CPU's. A locked i5 with motherboard wouldn't cost that much more when you figure in an aftermarket cooler for your FX-8320 setup along with the processor and motherboard.

that's what I was thinking 1-2 hundred more dollars and I could probably get an i5 and a decent mobo, mainly because I have to upgrade my motherboard is the reason I am completely upgrading otherwise I would have just bought a new cpu

Ok so Ill try to upgrade to an Intel Core i5-4690k 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor and MSI Z97-GAMING 5 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard is that good?

Good choice, and don't forget you can sell the old mobo/cpu on ebay to help defray some of the cost. It's why I keep every original box for components I get, so I can resell with original box and manual etc.
