Hello, I need your guys help. I just upgraded my CPU from an amd phenom ii x4 965 black edition to the AMD FX-8350. Here are all the problems I have been encountering since I put the new CPU in
1. I get stuck on the MOBO splash screen. The only way I can get past this is if I unplug my keyboard/mouse (both usb) this has never happened before and would like a fix since its annoying
2. Cannot connect to the internet. Everything else that uses an ethernet cord is able to connect but my PC will not connect to the internet since the new CPU was put in.

Here is my build

I have taking out the CMOS battery and putting it back in and nothing changed.

Please help I have no idea what to do to fix these problems.

Solution
first off, you need to paste the permalink, the shortcut you gave doesn't show your build.

second, look for a bios update and upgrade using the old cpu. some older motherboards need a bios update before they support the new fx line properly.

Alright I'll try that now and updated post with the correct link.

Just put my old CPU back in.. same exact errors happening. What else can I try?

I only have the two CPUS my old one had no problems then once I changed it to the new one I'm getting the same problems with both

I've tried this so far
1. Tried switching CPU's
2. Take memory out/ put back in
3. Tried reapplying thermal paste multiple times
4. Took out the CMOS battery

I only get these 2 errors
1. Stuck at splash screen if USB keyboard/mouse plugged in (never happened before)
2. No internet connection (worked fine before I made the switch)

update:

I was able to connect to the internet after leaving it sit for awhile I updated the BIOS and the same problem still occurs. Right now I'm reinstalling my OS. Is there anything else I can try if reinstalling the OS wont work.
