Sorry if this is the wrong section for this kind of issue. I can delete and repost if there's a more appropriate section to do so.
Upgraded from B85m-G43 and an i7 4790 to an ASRock B650m Pro RS Wifi and an amd 7600x.
I use a logitech G933 wireless USB headset.
Before the upgrade and for years the sound has been perfect for how I like it. However after replacing some parts, now my sound sounds...'off'. For example before it sounded like most sound (besides intentional directional audio ala Virtual Barber) came from around the center of my monitor (in terms of spatial source if that makes sense) but now it sounds like its coming from a bit closer and a foot higher (so above and in front of me). It also sounds like things have a bit more echo or reverb or something (not sure exactly what it is, sorry). The Discord dm ba-doop used to just be a subtle badoop from in front of me and now it sounds like some big BAA-DOOOOP coming from around me. Most of my games suddenly have sounds being more spatially sourced than they were before and it's throwing me off really badly.
I thought at first it was the different audio codec but then I found out USB audio isn't affected by motherboard codec.
I've tried uninstalling all drivers and running like that, installing the old audio driver I was using before the upgrade, installing the recommended driver again, trying adding as legacy hardware, been searching and trying things for 3 days now and I cannot get my sound to function as it did before and I have no idea why at this point.
I can grab any other info or try other things if need be to help identify the problem. I'm just getting subtle background anxiety at how much everything feels 'off' and its preventing me from focusing on anything.
