Initially I tried to use the "Upgrade to Windows 10" from Windows 7, but it kept failing and restarting. So I used the media creation tool to create the files on a USB drive. I installed Windows 10, it went through the setup and everything, let me link Microsoft Account and all. Then the trouble started. Half the time I get a "No HDMI Input" on my monitor, sometimes it goes into repair mode and fails to repair. It boots into safe mode every once in a while, and when it let me login the one time to the desktop, I immediately updated everything I could on Windows Updates and drivers for video card etc and it seemed like everything may be fine, but then it rebooted after update last night and never came back up. I've tried turning it on multiple times today but can only get into Safe Mode. Any recommendations??

Search Google (or whatever search engine you want to use) using the string:

windows update error: 0x800f0845

The first 2 or 3 links will show you what to do. If that doesn't work then you're looking at another wipe and reinstall.

After flashing windows to usb did you again choose upgrade from windows 7 or the custom upgrade?

After putting it onto the USB I booted into the USB and did it like a fresh install and partitioned the drive to erase everything from Windows 7 off through custom install. I managed to get into BIOS and disable fast-startup, not sure if that was helpful or not, but booting the OS directly from Bios went straight to the login screen. I opened Windows Updates to see what happened and found this:

Is there anything else I need to troubleshoot or check while I have the computer seemingly running normal? I'm almost afraid to reboot it at any point right now.
