Upgraded Optimum Online

I've upgraded from 15 mbps to 50 mbps. On speedtest speeds were higher than advertised around 80 mbps. Internet does not even feel any faster at all in fact loading times feels exactly the same. Games also share similar ping. Am i being ripped off my money due to the fact I'm not getting any increase in speed?

It all depends on who you connect to, and how many devices are using the connection at the same time.

For one person, you may well not feel any difference. If you had 6 people in the house, all streaming/gaming at the same time....you'd notice.

I currently have 50/25 FiOS, and am seriously considering going back to 25/25.
