So I recently upgraded to a gigabyte b450 mobo, 16gb of ddr4 ram, and the new amd 1600 af. I did not upgrade my hdd so I did not think I needed to install windows again. I've done some research online and on this website but I'm not too entirely sure if that's the problem. Whenever I start my computer I load in the "reboot and select proper boot device" screen. I ctrl+alt+delete then spam del to get into bIOS. I also tried hitting f12 to get into the boot menu, then hitting the only option there but it takes me back to the "reboot and select proper boot device" screen. If I do need in reinstall windows I have two more questions. Will all of my other files like games and stuff I've written on notepad still be there? As well as, what would be the easiest way for me to install windows 10 on my upgraded computer?

Yeah... it's supported from F1, a BIOS update is not needed.

Is the HDD detected in BIOS?... go to the Chipset tab and look for your HDD in the Cipset SATA Ports listed there.

Thank you that's all it actually was. I didn't see a connection so I opened up my computer and found the sata cable wasn't connected.
