Upgraded rig - RAM might be underperforming.

Corsair vengeance 16gb DDR4 3.000 Mhz
Msi gaming M5 Z270
Gtx 980 TI
Samsung 960 M2
Evga 850 G2
I-7700k
noctua nh-d14

So i finally got all my new stuff and put it all together. After i put it together i realized i put the ram into the into the DIMMA/B 1 slots instead of DIMMA/B 2. According to userbenchmark my ram is underperforming greatly and i have a suspicion that this might cause the trouble.

I probably should've pulled off the cooler and re-slotted the ram when i realized my mistake but it is 3am and i cba at the moment.

I know there are some geniuses here who are quite knowledgeable and i'd like your input on the issue at hand.

Go into bios, enable xmp, enjoy. All ram defaults to 2133 you have to speed it up yourself

You want them in the same colored slots other than that as long as it boots no. Xmp is what will get them up to speed
