[SOLVED] Upgraded System Hardware, performance less than my old config

Hello.
I recently upgraded my mobo, ram, and CPU and have been doing some benchmarks on it for the last few days. Everything seemed a little slower than my last config, and my benchmark scores we're a little lower as well.

I tried doing a fresh install of windows but that did not seem to help much. I've checked for incompatibility issues but everything should be running fine. I have not wiped any drives, but done a windows "refresh". I guess that would be my next step but would like to avoid having to reinstall all my programs if possible. I will list my system specs below. (my old rig used the same PSU, and GPU)

Mobo: TUF Gaming B450 Plus
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
GPU: GTX 1060 3gb
RAM: Ballistix 16gb 2666mhz
PSU: Corsair VS650

Was going to ask the same thing, as well as what games, settings, and res.

Obvious to some, but not others, could be things like using higher settings with the new rig and still expecting more FPS. It's best to do an apples to apples comparison.

I'm thinking that the difference in cores is what gave me a higher score in Heaven benchmark? Not sure otherwise why I would get a lower performance, as far as games goes I haven't done any testing, only Cinebench and Heaven tools.

tested it on a few games, and it seems my FPS is higher, not sure if it's just with the Heaven benchmark that favors more cores? not sure but my FPS in games does not seem to be affected.

Yes. To isolate problems, you need to eliminate as many things as possible.
