Upgraded to GTX980 and Devils Canyon, which games make the most difference?

I upgraded from GTX780 and 4770 to GTX980 and 4790k, (oc @ 4.4Ghz).

In most games I have not noticed that much of a difference... but in some games like ARMA 3 I noticed a good boost after the CPU upgrade from 3.4Ghz to 4.4Ghz.

Are there any other modern games that I can play to notice a 'difference that makes a difference' from my recent upgrade? I do not feel I got a bang for buck from this upgrade , only marginal improvements at best. Any other games like ARMA 3 that fall within the sweet spot of noticeable difference when moving from 4770 to 4790k processor?

You wont notice that much of a difference in current games, but give it an year or two, and you will be glad that you upgraded.

What resolution do you game at? Grab a 1440p monitor and you will see a difference I suspect.

What did you expect? When you upgrade from a very high end machine to a slightly more high end machine you are not going to see big differences. The fact is, 80% of pc gamers don't have machines with 780s and i7s in them, so no games are focused on pushing the limits of those systems.

Yeah, or pick up a 40" 4k monitor.
