I bought a pre-built system a month or so ago and it runs beautifully, but I'm looking to make some upgrades. Here are my current specs:

MoBo - MSI X470 GAMING Plus
CPU - Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7GHz Octo-Core
RAM - 8GB 2667 MHz RAM
GPU - NVidia GTX 1050ti 4GB GDDR5
AIO - Asetek 550LC 120mm Liquid Cooling System
PSU - 600W Thermaltake Smart Series 80PLUS Gold
Boot Drive - 512GB SSD
Data Drive - 1TB 7200RPM HDD
Monitor 1 - Dell 24" 60Hz
Monitor 2 - Dell 20" 60Hz

I'm already upgrading the RAM to 16GB 3400MHz so it increases the performance of the CPU (as it is a Ryzen CPU) but I'm not sure which will be a more effective and necessary upgrade: the GPU or the Monitors.

I only have a budget of about $300 for this and was looking in the used market for some GPU's & Monitors. I found a bunch of 1070/1070ti's for around $300 and found a good chunk of Ultrawide monitors for around the same price as well. I want to keep the functionality of dual monitors, but only have 1 monitor, which is why I'm looking at Ultrawide monitors, but I don't know which ones will be good for gaming on one side and watching Youtube/Twitch on the other (I play MOBA/MMORPG/Dungeon Crawler games that I don't need to know the story for, as I've heard it plenty of times).

What would be the better upgrade to do; GPU or Ultrawide Monitor?
