Upgrading a CPU process

Simple question: How do you go about upgrading your CPU? I have an Intel Core i5-6500 and will be upgrading to an Intel Core I7-6700K.

I'll also be upgrading from the Default Intel cooler to the Cryorig M9I.

But, how do you physically upgrade it, isn't it awkward to remove the CPU and especially the cooler from inside the case? I just feel like that would be a really claustrophobic process and could be quite irritating and aggravating.

Is this true or is it just me over thinking and being slightly worried since it'll be my first time upgrading a CPU?

Thanks

IMHO you're overthinking it.

It just as easy as swapping RAM sticks tbh, the only 'hard' part is unlocking the cooler and heat sink. You could do everything with the mobo still plugged in the case if you don't want to disconnect everything else as well...

Aside from that, is just a matter of picking up the older CPU and replacing it with the newer, no problems at all.

Don't worry. Just go for it and don't get scared. And that's a pretty nice cpu cooler upgrade
