Hi.
I was recently gave a gaming PC and I was wanting to see about upgrading it for my nephew since he's a big video game player.
I honestly have 0 knowledge of the stuff and was hoping I could find help here.

I found this information using Speccy

CPU
AMD FX-4300
Vishera 32nm Technology

RAM
16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz
Motherboard

MSI 760GMA-P34(FX) (MS-7641) (CPU1)
Graphics

G246HL (1920x1080@60Hz)
2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB (EVGA)
Storage

931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-21M2NA0 ATA Device (SATA )

I've been told my nephews main games are Fortnite, Dead By Daylight, GTA and Red Dead Redemption 2 if that helps any.

My budget is anything under $500.00 if possible. Thank you to anyone who wants to try helping

Solution
There isn't a lot you can do with current hardware in terms of worthwhile upgrades. Keeping gpu and hdd and use them in an overhauled system would be recommended, especially for RDR2.

Power supply isn't listed so assuming it's quite old and it'll most likely need replacing as well. This on special.

Total: $441

Extra doe, could go for an ssd to install Windows and few favourite games on to.

Or invest in better case if current is lacking air flow. Intel's stock cooler is ok, not the best so would want air flow to help it.

If case is decent, then instead of new case / ssd, a better cpu cooler.

Or do it all :)
