This is what I have right now
Except that GPU
I have a KFA2 GTX 260+ that works flawlessly but I can't play newer DX11 games on it so I want an upgrade
I want to get a MSI R9 390
I know that my CPU will bottleneck the GPU but I just want to know will it work
I will upgrade the CPU and MOBO in future but for now I think that this will do the job

PCPartPicker says that parts are compatible and it's under 500W

Edit: Sorry
Here's the link

You're correct R9 390 is lot stronger than 380 and it's worth the extra money. Like I said before upgrade your motherboard and cpu asap because even if you overclock...

are you overclocking your cpu or playing 1440p or 4k? if your not you really should get the r9 380 if you are not going to upgrade the cpu for a good amount of time if your going to upgrade then yes definitely get the r9 390
and for brand i would go asus or msi

I am thinking about playing at 4k and if I have to I will overclock my CPU
And when I upgrade my CPU and MOBO I want to get an Oculus Rift DK2
And for the R9 380 from what I've seen on Youtube there is a difference in perfomance but it's cheaper
