Upgrading AMD CPU In Laptop. Socket Compatibility

Hi, I have a HP Pavilion G6 which has an AMD A6-4400M.

I want to upgrade my processor to a Quad-Core because I use this computer for tough tasks but I do not know which one to buy or which one is compatible.

If you can help me out, it would be greatly appreciated.

(Please do not say "Buy a new computer" because I have no intentions of doing it)

I'd first open the laptop up and see if you can even change it out to begin with.
If that cpu is soldered into the motherboard, there isn't a thing you can do about it but 'buy a new computer'.

90+% of the time you can't upgrade a CPU in a notebook.... that is probably closer to 98% to 99.5% come to think of it. You don't have to buy a new computer unless you want a faster CPU.
