Hey everyone!

Here's the deal, I've had an AMD A6-3670 APU with onboard graphics for 3 years now. 2 weeks ago, I upgrade to a geforce GTX 750ti and everything has been operating extremely well. I'm still slightly in shock considering I was living in the dark ages with my crap graphics. My life is divided into two halves; before the 750ti and after! Anyway, I'm wondering if my cpu is bottlenecking my rig at this point. If it is, I would appreciate any upgrade suggestions. I'm a noob when it comes to this and would appreciate any help. Thanks a lot.

Depending on which motherboard you have, you could potentially overclock that A6. There really is not other cpu you could get on that old platform that would be a worthwhile upgrade. The other option is to upgrade to a newer platform.

8 gigs of ram
windows 7 x64
monitor is 1920x1080
500w power supply
Its an Asus motherboard, I dont know the specifics of it at the moment.

Buying a whole new motherboard etc?

Low intensive games usually, like counter strike go, heroes of the storm, diablo 3. However, I would like to play the witcher 3, and I dont think my cpu can handle it. Plus I want to be able to run other games in the future.

Not really. Nothing too crazy though. A range of 300 - 600 is reasonable. I don't go all out on my gaming rigs.

I've never overclocked before. I dont know how to do it and I doubt I will do it in the future. Maybe you can recommend a new platform in the 300 - 400 range? I'd have to get a new windows license as well.
