Upgrading an Optiplex 7010

So I got this PC from my mom's friend. It seems to have been upgraded already but not enough for me. This is what I got from CPU-Z

CPU: Intel i7-3770 @3.40GHz
VGA: AMD Radeon HD 7500 series
RAM: 4GB Single Channel

For case size, from this picture, mine is the second one from the left. I am also considering building an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 build if I don't upgrade this but I still need about $100-$150 left.

That case is SFF, very few GPUs in that size worth getting. There is a GTX 1050 out there in that size, but the PSU may not be enough to handle it.

What were you wanting to do to upgrade? Whats your budget like?

I have a budget of around $700-$740 for the upgrade, if I don't, that's going to be another PC.
I am wanting to upgrade so it can handle games like Fortnite, Scrap Mechanic and those type of games at 1080p60

Those are not very demanding games. That system could handle it with a LPP GPU like the 1050 I mentioned.

Personally if I were you before before spending that money though I'd consider what you may want a couple years down the road. With a budget of $750 you could build something way better and be good to play AAA games at a decent FPS for a while.

A Ryzen build is far better use of your money than trying to upgrade that system. That said you can probably even get some money on ebay out of the old processor and memory.

I mod old Dells as a hobby, and help people upgrade them here. But with that budget a new build is the way to go
