Hey just from pure interest i want to know if upgrading the ram for the "graphic card" in a laptop will make it able to run more demanding programs.
My laptop is fast enough to run Astroneer but the dedicated GPU ram isn't enough. I need 1gb but only have 128 MB in Intel HD graphics 520.
Will upgrading the dedicated GPU ram help and which storage does it take it from? Like my Ram or SSD?

Ok you don’t have a dedicated gpu, you have cpu integrated graphics. This shares the system RAM which is much slower than VRAM found on dedicated GPU’s. All you can do is try assigning more RAM in the BIOS but this reduces the RAM available to rest of the system.
