[SOLVED] Upgrading Dual core to quadcore

What should i do to make my dual core to quad core, this is my specs.
I dont have knowledge in computer, i just copied it from my computer details.

Intel 4th gen G3260
Asrock H97m Anniversary socket 1150
4gb ddr3 kingston 1333mhz low profile
Msi Twin Frozer GTX 560 TI
Seagate 500GB sata 3.5" HDD
FSP 450 watts Tru rated PSU 80%

Replacing the CPU with the i5 4690, for example.

i think i5 4430 is good performing quad core and your motherboard will support.
and i suggest you to upgrade your gpu too. at least gtx 1060 3gb gddr5
and your ram to 8gb. and make your pc a gaming beast

Whats the cheapest i5 that i can buy?
Is gtx 1050 ti good too?

A 4590 can be had on eBay for 80 dollars.

A 1050ti is a fine gpu, for the same price a ex 570 can be purchased for the same price and offers considerably more performance
