Hey guys!

So I'm very much a beginner when it comes to builds, this is my first one. I would like to improve my graphics experience with the new MSFS2020 because its just not great currently. Would upgrading my GPU be the best bet or should I upgrade my CPU? I know I really need to also upgrade my monitor as the current is not optimal. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Current Build:
Monitor AOC 2367 60Hz
CPUIntel Core i7-2600 3.4 GHz Quad-Core Processor
CPU CoolerIntel BXTS15A CPU Cooler
MotherboardAsus Maximus V Gene Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard

I agree that it's probably time for a new system. Just about the only thing you could salvage is the case and even then that's outdated by today's standards. Probably the only thing that you could salvage that would be worth it is any hard drives you have, but just hook those up to an external enclosure and build a new system from scratch.

And let's not forget that Flight Simulator 2020 is a beast, it needs a multi core CPU, (we're talking Ryzen 3600X minimum or Intel i5-9600K) plenty of RAM and a 2XXX or 3XXX card to be able to run properly.
You are really looking to get a new system as your pretty much maxed on the cpu and graphics.
An upgrade to a i7-3770k would be very small so not worth it.
A graphics card upgrade would push you into spending money on a PSU aswell.

Focus on getting a new system
