Hi,

I want to put more ram into my computer. I was going to buy 2 more 8 gb Corsair Vengeance 3200Mhz sticks. They are the same as my current ram outside of one set is black the other is the white version. Can I still run the same XMP? I have heard of issues of stability with 4 sticks. I didnt really want to spend the extra to buy 2 16gbs instead and remove my old ones.

12400f cpu
MSI b550m Bazooka MB
16gb of Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 3200Mhz ram

Corsair are the only brand to have a PCB revision number listed on their sticks of ram, to signify that they've used multiple different IC's in their ram kit in spite of having the same exterior appearance.

If you want to upgrade the ram, make sure they're identical all the way down to the PCB revision as your or invest in a brand new kit but with higher density per stick.
