Hey, just to keep it short and simple, need recommendations on upgrading my PC, with most components being from 2017 2018, with a budget preferably at 600€, due to some games (Cyberpunk 2077 for example) being bottlenecked by my 5 year old CPU

Currently have a:
i5 8600K De-lidded at 5gHz (Noctua U12A handled it perfectly)
ROG Z370-G
2x8 GB DDR4 2400mHz CL16, 2x8 GB DDR4 3000mHz CL18 (got the second 2 Sticks for 30€)
EVGA 3060 Ti XC

So far I considered:
i5 13600KF (I don't stream or make videos, and if I ever do I just use NVIDAs NVENC)
ASUS ROG B760-i (Prefer small form factor ITX or MATX)
2x8 GB DDR5 4800MT CL38 (This part I have no idea what's Ideal, Saying I could go for a DDR4 board, keep my current memory, and save 100€ with a cheaper board and not needing new memory)

Any suggestions are appreciated, Thanks

Current question is now i5 13500 or 13600K(F)
and if its better to keep using DDR4 another 5 years, or just go head with DDR5
If you had DDR4 3200 or 3600 then it might be worth it to keep your RAM otherwise I would look at a set of 2x16GB DDR5 6000mhz. The 13600KF overclocks with a Z790 board whereas the 13500 is a locked cpu.
What country are you shopping in?
What case do you have (reusing?)
Can you give a definitive decision on mITX vs mATX?

Yes, re-using your DDR4 RAM is going to make the most of your stated budget, even though it's slower than the ~3600MT/s kits on the market today.

Yes, re-using your DDR4 RAM is going to make the most of your stated budget, even though it's slower than the ~3600MT/s kits on the market today. Considering that your stated budget only covers a CPU & mobo, there isn't much to be done there.

Shipping in Germany, preferably new so they last the next 5 years
Case is an NZXT H400, gonna go for a 4000D Later
and whether ITX or MATX, depends on the pricing, but I imagine MATX might be more viable

Fixed the Error, Actually meant 600€, since that's what I'm currently looking at

What are you rocking for storage?

Storage is Irrelevant, Have enough and since it doesn't effect said Bottleneck I left it out

Is the 13500 so Ideal compared to 13600KF which I could overclock? I do have thermal space with the U12A

and with the Memory, am I better future proofed if I go DDR5? I do want to avoid any further purchases for the next 5 years again after all.

So Ive been thinking now:

i5 13500
ASUS ROG B760 I
DDR5 2x8GB

however Im not sure if I should go
CL38 4800 for 75€
CL40 6000 for 83€
CL36 5200 for 82€
CL36 6000 for 93€

whats Ideal and whats not worth it?
