Upgrading from 460GTX to 660GTX Ti OC Worth?

Ok,i'll try to be a bit quick...Here's my PC Specs:

CPU: Intel i5 2500K @3,3Ghz NO OC
GPU: GIGABYTE 460GTX 1GB OC (but NOT OC'd by me,came OC'd by default)
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1333mhz
HDD: 1TB Western Digital Blue 7200RPM
Monitor: BenQ XL2410T (i think) 120hz 1920x1080 (120hz mode activated in Windows)
OS: Windows 7 64bits Home Premium
PSU: Thermaltake Toughpower 700W Modular (with 2 6pin GPU connectors..i accidentally threw the box with the remaining cables ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;...but i know i can but 8pin ones on their website)

The thing is..will upgrading my 460GTX to a 660GTX Ti OC by Gigabyte (This one http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4344#ov ) will be worth the upgrade?..Will i notice a big difference?...

That card,the 660GTX Ti OC, costs 266€/$ at where i live,FYI..and a 670GTX costs 369$,just for reference

That is a big upgrade. How much will strongly depend on exactly what GTX 460 you have (there's a very wide range in performance between different models of the GTX 460), but even from the fastest of them, this is a significant upgrade.

Seriously? 660GTX Ti over 670?,but i've heard there's this 192-bit Bus thing VS 256?-bit from the 670GTX and that it could affect future games and stuff

Thou i've heard there's a tiny 5%? difference tween 660GTX Ti OC and 670...

Also,if i get the card,can i just swap cards and boot windows 7 all normal without the need to format?..i did that (NO FORMATTING) whenever i changed my 8800GT to my actual card (the link above in this post) and nothing wrong happend.

I was talking about this because the upcoming 700 series cards might cost well,hella a LOT and by seeing the new TITAN card's price ....i fainted,like NO THANKS..

Besides,i don't think any of the 700 Series cards would FIT in my Antec 900 case
 
Yeah, difference is tiny. Stick with 660gtx ti. Overclocks like crazy!

Yeah just swap the card and install drivers and you are done !

Always get the 256bit
 
There is a significant difference between the 660 Ti and the 670, but the 670 is also much more expensive for you according to you.

You don't need to reformat to upgrade the video card.

GTX 700 series and Titan are two separate lines. Titan is not part of any series and will exist as a card between the GTX 600 and GTX 700 series (technically, it should be part of the GTX 600 series, but oh well).

Uh, no. That post was correctly pointing out your mistake; you recommended the 660 Ti, then contradicted yourself by saying "Always get the 256 bit", failing to realize that that 660 Ti only comes with a 192-bit wide bus.
 
I upgraded from the 460GTX to a 7870 XT (Tahiti) and it is a huge improvement. the 660TI and 7870 XT have pretty similar performance so I am guessing you will see much better perf. I can almost run crisis 2 with everything maxed on a 2560 by 1440 screen (well I get low 30's FPS in the bit testing I did on crisis 2)

That'll be a long wait since they're not planned to come out until either 2013q4 or 2014q1, so I'd recommend that you upgrade soon unless you don't mind waiting most of a year.
