Hey guys, I have a few questions... I've been looking into upgrading to a GTX 970 G1 from my old GTX 580. I was about 1 minute from buying one until I read the GTX 1070 is coming out on the 10th! I looked around but couldn't find the cost of the 1070. How much more will it be than the 970? I'm also on an older mobo (P8Z68-v PRO) with PCIe 2.0. Will this cause any problems? Will a 2600k @ 4.5ghz bottleneck the card?

Solution
That CPU should be fine past the 1080 ti. However, the GTX 580 is not far off from the GTX 950 and the R9 280, meaning if you are still using a 1080P monitor at 60hz, wait until you want to upgrade the monitor before shopping for vid cards unless you are currently experiencing issues with FPS or tearing. I'd personally wait until there are 32"+ gsync 4K monitors under $500 then look at least towards the 1070 to SLI at some point but for most enthusiasts, the 1080 ti or next generation.
