I'm looking at purchasing an SSD to upgrade my 500GB Seagate hard drive. The only thing I really need help with is how to copy over the bootdrive (500GB drive) to the SSD (256GB) so i can use that as a boot drive. I'm gonna be using my hardrive as a secondary storage drive.

It comes with Data Migration software, but it's best if you can keep the stuff that you want to migrate from your HDD to SSD under 150 GB so it doesn't get close to overflow.
or you can take out the HDD, install a fresh copy of Windows using the same license code (it'll still work) > connect the HDD after your done installing > move the data.
