upgrading from r9 280x dual-x to r9 290 tri-x

hello how are you fellow gamers, is the upgrade worth it? am i going to see difference in performance? i play on 1920x1080

my cpu: core i5 2500K stock speed
ram: 8GB corsair XMS3

You will see an improvement, but, not that much, mainly because of your CPU.

Don't do it. That is a baby step. Keep the 280x and wait for a better jump.
