im currently using my pc for (mainly) 1080p game and some 3D modelling. currently im thinking to upgrade this cpu to r5 3500, or r5 2600, which one is more future proof and can handle my daily task for gaming and 3d modelling?

this is my spec
r3 2200g
8gb x 2 corsair vengeance 3200
b450 pro vdh max
rx 570 4gb
450 cooler master mwe

thank you.

I have a 2600 and i do some editing as well.As long as it's not as intense as somethging like maya.It works fine even with maya but 2700x would be better in that regards.I play on 1440p at the moment with a 1070 ti.The 2600 are a really good price at the moment but if you can score a 1600af which are a lot cheaper and it's same tech only difference is 100mhz less base but that can be fixed with a small oc.

I think the R5 2600 is always a good buy, 6 cores and 12 threads.

Keep in mind the new Ryzen 5000 series should arrive to shops on november 5 and depending on the number AMD can supply and the demand you may see some prices changes on the older models.
