So its time to upgrade the old PC.

The only thing that I am wanting to keep is the MB and PSU and Case.

Asus - M5A99FX PRO R2.0 ATX AM3+ Motherboard
Corsair - CXM 750W

So Im looking to upgrade everything. Whats the best performing gaming PC that you guys can build?

Solution
Agreed with WildCard999. Do not spend ANY money on anything that is specific to the AM3+

At this point, that would be:
- Upgrading the CPU for that motherboard
- Purchasing more DDR3 RAM

It is a dead-end platform, and any older RAM you buy for that board or, most especially, any upgraded CPU that works in that motherboard, will be money thrown away for very little performance gain.
Don't keep the motherboard, its a outdated socket. Be it that your case can support these parts this is what I'd go with, had to chose a lower end GPU as the pricing is currently outrageous.

Once GPU prices normalize, whenever that may be, sell the 1050 and get something substantially better for gaming.
