With these kind of specs, you better look towards a whole new build.

E.g this one:

And comparison too, your current build as base, my suggestion as an alternative:

Userbenchmark PC Build Comparison

Baseline Bench: Game 27%, Desk 73%, Work 24%
CPU: AMD FX-8350
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1050-Ti
SSD: Samsung 860 Evo 500GB
RAM: G.SKILL TridentX DDR3 2400 C10 4x8GB

Alternative Bench: Game 93%, Desk 98%, Work 86%
CPU: Intel Core i5-11400
GPU: Nvidia RTX 3060
SSD: Samsung 980 NVMe PCIe M.2 500GB
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2400 C16 2x8GB

Note: Since i don't know what RAM you have, i put in generic DDR3 RAM. And in 32GB in size, since comparison site doesn't have sample of 24GB set. Same goes for the disk drive. Put in generic SSD, which i think you may have with that old build. But if you use HDD as OS drive, then your build will fall behind even more.

Now, after looking this comparison, do you really want to just buy a new GPU? Or would you buy the new whole build?
Btw, PC case is personal choice and feel free to switch it out.

Due to the age of your current system it isn't worth while to just put a new GPU into there and call it a day. Therefore I would do a full rebuild and something along these lines will do quite well.

You can swap out on SSD for the extra cost for an RTX 3060 quite easily. Only reason for the two SSDs is to have a set OS drive and then one for games. The Phanteks PSU is a rebadged Seasonic Focus GX so high quality.
