My specs:
i5-3570
GA-H77-D3H-MVP
16gb RAM
GTX 670 2GB
750W PSU

the new graphics card is MSI ARMOR RX580 8GB

I plugged in the new card, screen does not go on, but all fans are working.

Then plugged back the gtx 670, everything’s working normally.
Then put the 580 back again, screen’s dead.

Had the NVIDIA driver stripped away, yet still not working.

I don’t know what happen, can anybody help?

Solution
1| Are you on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard?
2| How old is your PSU?
3| Speaking of which, you forgot to include the make and model of the PSU.
4| Can you get into BIOS while the RX580 is populating the first PCI-E x16 slot?

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I have updated the bios to the recent version.
Then I uninstall all the NVDIA drivers in safe mode through DDU.
Then I plugged in the rx 580.....voila, no problem now.
Everything's been running great.

About the PSU, I think it's Cooler Power-- cheap ones.
