Hello im thinking to upgrade to a GT 1030 on my lga775 motherboard it will work or not?

This is my motherboard: Motherboard

and this is the GT 1030 im planning to buy : GT 1030

I've read that it will work but its always good to have a second opinion
Also these are my specs
CPU: Intel Xeon X5450 (modded)
RAM:2GB DDR2 (planning to upgrade to 4gb DDR3)
Thanks for your time.

Solution
I'm running a Q6600 2.4GHz quad core no HT at 3.0 oc on air for 10 years with: 1080 GT 8GB DDR5 video card in my socket 775 Asus P5k board with 8GB DDR2, 1 TB SSD, 3TB + extra Mechanical, and extra 750 TI 2GB DDR4/5 running between 4 and 6 monitors at any given time ( 1 is 4k the rest are 1080p )..

I have upgraded my video card several times ( 1080 is third.. 750 was second... first died - running with dual cards now because running multiple monitors you don't want your primary card running the extras if you can help it )

So it is possible - and all triple A new games are playable and able to be enjoyed ( without stuttering, etc.. )...

All games I put on max settings except shadows ( which are incredibly resource intensive ) and...
is this for playing games? You really need a lot more ram.

GT1030 will work, some arguments can be made as to go for a GTX750ti as well (slightly better performance/graphics -- but there isn't a huge difference between them, just suggestion another option)

I'm thinking going for 8 gb ddr3 but it will need a lot of tweaking in the bios for the motherboard to detect the 4x2 gb sticks
As of the GPU thanks for the opinion but i only play E-Sport games so i dont think i will go for a GTX750ti.
Thanks tho

All games I put on max settings except shadows ( which are incredibly resource intensive ) and maybe I reduce buffering based on speed of gameplay ( faster = less time to enjoy smoothness of leaves so you can reduce double - triple - x16 buffering ) etc... but shadows will give the greatest bump in fps...

I am looking to upgrade because my cards are severely bottlenecked.. and running normal apps is getting slower and slower because I'm trying to do more and more in a smaller time frame.
