I'm trying to sort out a budget computer system for my girlfriend to help her hold out at home during the current world events. I've located a Dell Optiplex 7010 that I can purchase for $369.99 that has the following specifications:
Intel i7-3770 at 3.40GHz
8GB DDR3-1600 memory
Intel HD Graphics 4000
*I suspect that the power supply is about 250-275W based off of other Optiplex 7010's.
She doesn't need anything beefy, but she'd like to be able to play something like Minecraft reliably. The Intel 4000 Graphics should be OK, but she does have a 1080p monitor. So I'm thinking I might need to also buy a Low-Profile GPU. Does anyone have any recommendations? Most of the cards I've come across have 300W power requirements, which might be too much. If I tried to run something like a GT 1030, which has a 300W power requirement, what kind of issues might that cause?
