Question Upgrading GPU

I currently have a 2060 and just got the 3060 ti. Upgrading is as simple as switching the two and updating to most recent drivers right?

Provided your PSU is up to task, you should use DDU, remove your existing GPU drivers(and all other driver traces with said app), then power down, disconnect from the wall and display, remove the RTX2060, then drop in the RTX3060Ti, reconnect the display and then wall outlet, fire up, then manually install with the latest drivers for your GPU from Nvidia in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

On a side note, please parse the specs to your current build like so:

SSD/HDD:

PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:

mentioning the age of the PSU as well, for good measure.

Sorry @Lutfij but I have to disagree.

Since the RTX 2060 and 3060Ti use the same driver package, I see no reason to remove any previous drivers. I would suggest only downloading the latest driver package from NVidia and have it on standby on the off chance you need to reinstall them.
