I am upgrading my graphics card from an Nvidia Geforce 210 to an AMD HD6850. Can someone help tell me if it is compatible with my system?

CPU: Intel Pentium G630
Motherboard: ECS H61H2-M2

8gb ram, windows 7 64 bit.

Also, after installing the card, do I need to do anything else software-wise besides installing the drivers?

Thank you

Solution
It will straightforward compatible with your motherboard. It only needs PCIe 2.0 × 16 slot. Also make sure your PSU has PCIe power connector. And no, you don't need to install anything besides the drivers. You can install the catalyst control Centre to increase the GPU performance, it is available on AMD website.

Easily dude .. because its the lower end graphics card.. its use on any pc. I hope your psu recommend to your graphics card.. you can't face any problem for install your new amd hd 6850.. but one thing you do for gaming , you need to install latest driver for good gaming .. its download from your graphics card website.
Enjoy your gaming
Best of luck dude

For playing modern games that CPU is not enough. For some older games the CPU is fine when there is a decent GPU like a HD6850 that you are planning to buy.

Dude your pc is good for gaming .. but new games want to a high processor ( i5 4th or 3rd gen. ) + gtx 970 graphics card + 8gb ram... if you really want to play all modern or big game.. other you pc is enough for some games. But never these games . Like ( ac unity , far cry 3 or 4 , gta v and other heavy games )
