Basically i want to upgrade my graphics card and i am wondering whether i could upgrate to a nividia 970 or higher i have a power supply of 500w and rest of my specs are

Id like to know what i would need to upgrade if anything and how hard is it to take out and replace a graphics card? I am not the most computer savi so i am worried i am going to buy a new card and it is not going to work in my computer

...it has a very limited +12V rails. Also very poor grade capacitors. I would be hesitant using it with the GTX 970.

It is a NRP-VC503 SWITCHING POWER SUPPLY http://www.xigmatek.com/product.php?productid=41 ive ordered this anyway so im gonna be replacing it but it might not come till after the g card

Then it is probably best not to max out the card's load until you get the replacement.
