Upgrading GTX 570 in older system

My budget is about $250 Canadian dollars max. Newegg.ca preferred site and looking for an nvidia card. Not looking to overclock or run SLI (Mobo only does crossfire anyway) Not sure if this is even worth upgrading, but I have no intentions of rebuilding a new machine from scratch (well minus a case and other peripherals) I don't play a lot of AAA games but I like Path of Exile and my PC struggles with that game sometimes and won't run this new Skater XL game very well at all.

Curent specs:

1920x1080 resolution
EVGA GeForce GTX 570 HD
600w PSU
Gigabyte GA-H67A-UD3H-B3 Motherboard
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz
24 GB DDR3 1333mhz (Separate question about that I'll piggyback in this thread below)

This is the card I'm looking at but not sure if it's too big of an upgrade or even compatible/worth it with this ancient stuff:

And my quick RAM question:
My other question was about some new memory I bought as a replacement but ended up swapping the new Value Select ram into the first slots and putting the old memory in the other 2 unused slots for a total of 24gb instead of 16gb since they were the same brand and seemed close enough. Will this work okay?

As far as the ram, 16gb is actually plenty if you're just gaming. I'd just try to make sure they run in dual channel if possible.

I used to do a good amount of DAW music recording work and editing so couldn't hurt with that when I get back into it. Is this what I need to see to make sure it's working properly in Dual channel yes?

Here's an old thread that asks about the gtx 1050ti vs the RX 570

Basically, the RX 570 competes more with the gtx 1060, so if you're gaming, it should demolish any of those other cards. As far as I'm aware, that looks like it's running dual channel.

The RX 570 isn't the fastest card, but I used to have an RX 480 8gb which is close in performance to the RX 570. I sold my Rx 480 and made some money during mining. At that time I bought a gtx 1050ti to tide me over until I got a better card.

Trust me, the 1050ti is nowhere near the performance of the RX 480. The 570 should be close to the same performance bracket as the 480.
