Hi,

I’m looking for advice on upgrading my GPU in the next couple weeks, with a ~350CAD budget. TBH it’s so I can play CoD WZ with the guys. Eventually I want to upgrade the motherboard/CPU/RAM/SSD but I’d rather hold off if I can. Ideally I will purchase a GPU that will improve my current system now to play CoD but can also fit well with a more comprehensive rebuild in ~0.5-1 year from now. Shopping in Canada.

My current build was all purchased in 2013:
Monitor: LG IPS235 (Native Resolution: Full HD (1080p) 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz)
ASUS GeForce GTX 660 OC DirectCU 1020MHZ 2GB 6.0GHZ GDDR5 2xDVI HDMI DisplayPort PCI-E Video Card
Gigabyte Z77X-D3H ATX LGA1155 Z77 DDR3 3PCI-E16 3PCI-E1 HDMI CrossFireX/SLI SATA3 USB3.0 Motherboard
Intel Core i5 3570 Quad Core Processor LGA1155 3.4GHZ Ivy Bridge 6MB
Patriot Intel Extreme Masters 8GB 2X4GB PC3-12800 DDR3-1600 9-9-9-24 1.5V Dual Channel Memory Kit
Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB SATA 6GB/S 7200RPM 64MB Cache 3.5in Hard Drive OEM
Fractal Design Define R4 ATX Mid Tower Window Case Black 2X5.25 1X3.5 8X3.5INT 2X2.5SSD No PSU
Corsair CX Series CX600M 600W ATX 12V 80 Plus Bronze Modular Power Supply
Crucial M4 CT256M4SSD2 2.5in 256GB SATA3 MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Any advice on a compatible GPU that will fit the bill (maybe the GTX 1660 Super)? Or am I being too cheap and should I just upgrade the other components now along with the GPU to prevent bottlenecks?

Thanks for the help!

Solution
1660 super is a good one to get for the price, especially since your system is at 1080 resolution at 60hz, it should be able to run even a higher refresh rate gaming monitor without issues, at 1080 resolution with high settings.
