Upgrading I5 3300

Hi all,

I've had the i5 3300 cpu for 4 years now and about 18 months ago the generally consensus I got was stick with it don't go for a partial upgrade.

I use 16gb (2 x 8) RAM DDR3 - 1600

Asus GTX 980

2tb + 1tb HD

256 SSD

650w power supply

My budget for a new processor and motherboard is between £200-250 so was curious if anything in that category is a worthwhile upgrade?

I tend to play a variety of games Total Warhammer 2, Witcher 3, GTA 5 etc

Any worthwhile upgrade would require a CPU, Motherboard, and new RAM.

I'd hold off until you're ready to replace all 3 of those.

Pay day has been so I'm looking at around £400 for ram, cpu and processor. Any suggestions?
