Upgrading Mboard and gpu

1 x nvidia gaming PC socket 1155 i3 i5 i7 (. Intel i5 3570 Quad Core, . 1155 Asus P8B75-M LX Motherboard, . 16GB DDR3 Kingston 1333 (2 x 8Gb), . Creative OEM SB Audigy SE, . Manufacturer Supplied Cooler, . DVD+/- RW - 24X (Pioneer DVR-S19LBK), . 500GB S-ATAIII Hard Drive 6.0Gb/s, . No Secondary Hard Drive, . , . No Monitor, . CiT Mars Midi Tower Gaming Case with 2 x Blue LED Fans & LED Display, . CiT 700W Black Edition PSU, .

I upgraded the gpu to a gtx 1060 and windows 10 and it all installed good enough

Multitasking is out of the question and its running slower than before and disk goes to 100% often

i checked out the motherboard online to update bios but it only goes up to windows 8.1

Do i buy a new motherboard ?
Roll back to windows 8.1 and upgrade bios ?
Or is it another issue i am missing .

I think your motherboard is fine. You system should not have any trouble supporting the hardware or windows 10. Did you upload all of the motherboard and GPU drivers after the install?

Did you do a fresh install of Windows 10 or an upgrade? Upgrades aren't the optimal way to go.

Go to your Task Manager ans see what's causing the hard dive to run at 100%.
