I originally bought Win7 OEM and upgraded to 10 during the free upgrade period so I would think that makes my Win10 an OEM version as well. However i ran "slmgr.vbs /dlv" and it lists the Prduct Key Channel as Retail.

Does that mean I don't have to buy a new copy of the OS?
Or is there another place I have to look to see if it's OEM or not?

Well, it does sure look like a full retail license. Maybe just try if you can activate it with the new mobo. If it works hen you saved some money and if not, then just buy a new license.

That's what I thought as well but I was curious and tried to find out where it says it's an OEM version of the OS.

Screenshot is here.
