Hi all

I am looking at purchasing a new monitor, going from a 24" BenQ 1080p and would like to step up to 1440p. Minimum size 27" max size 32" and I would prefer 32" unless its just not going to look as good as I would have hoped.

I am a casual PC gamer, nothing online or competitive. Just a general gaming mixture from Divinity Original Sin 2 to Dying light, Evil within 2 to Subnautica so range of different things. I am more of a console gamer, PS4 pro at "cough" 4k "cough" on a 60 hz tv and 30 fps so I am still happy to stick with 60hz monitors if I can get a good 60fps on ultra or High at 2k and depending on cost of anything higher and If I really need to go higher.
Some text based work, general browsing etc.

Budget is around $400 top end.

Ones that I have been looking at:

AOC Q3279
https://www.umart.com.au/AOC-Q3279VWF-31-5in-Quad-HD-FreeSync-75HZ-Led_43654G.html
75hz, freesync, 2k at 32", 5ms. Good price at $300 good reviews but I have read a fair few people say it has pretty bad ghosting.

Viewsonic VX3726 - $50 than the above

This was originally my first choice just because it looks nice and sleek. Can only find Amazon reviews but I think its just a newer model. IPS, 60hz, 4ms, 10bit color nice slim design. Good reviews but a lot of them are for photo editing saying its a great monitor. Some a general remark of gaming saying its good.No freesync

Asus VZ27AQ
https://www.asus.com/Monitors/VZ27AQ/
Can do 75hz apparently with freesync, 5ms Nice slim design again. I didnt think about this until I thought maybe 27" might be the way to go. But as its not such a massive jump in size from 24" over 32" i am still not 100% sure.

But I am open to other suggestions :)

Can confirm - ghosting on this monitor is as bad as you can imagine. But you know what? It does not really make it a bad gaming monitor. In fact, the ghosting in mostly visible when just browsing the internet or reading documents, but I don't really see it when gaming. Maybe if I would play fast shooters it could look worse, but for RPG and the like games it's quite good (size matters!). As a side note, this monitor is constantly available at equivalent of 200$ in my country, so maybe you should look harder for better deal then 300$?
