So I have a 10 years old rig as I mentioned, based on i7 3770K, and noctua n14d for cooling, some samsung pro SSD, gigabyte 2060 super GPU (that's already newer obviously), don't remember the RAM (prob. DDR3) and mobo.
So probably I need almost new rig. this is my aims:
Approximate Purchase Date: not stressed about it, sometime in the upcoming 2-3 months
Budget Range: I am aiming to a nice rig (probably more than i really need, so budget up to 2000$ in which I wish to buy a really nice GPU.
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Some gaming (mainly COD MW2), and some photo editing (a photographer as a hobby), maybe some really basic video editing in the future.
want it to be future proof as my current rig which is still capabale of running COD even when it is this old.
Are you buying a monitor: No, own an LG 34" screen.
Parts to Upgrade: Mobo, CPU, GPU, PSU, RAM (DDR4), HD (NVME), Cooling (?), CASE!
Location: Seoul, South Korea
Parts Preferences: First of all it's going to be white build so I am aiming to white parts..
Intel for CPU (prob. i7), Mobo - I prefer the Asus ones, though it's not must. for GPU I thought to go on the 3080 series, but open for suggestions.
Cooling - well, i never tried water cooling, but I kinda like the idea and looks, but haven't decided yet air vs water.
site I am using here for prices (it's korean but i use translate page in chrome) - https://www.danawa.com/, there is also coupang, and gmarket, but danawa is a comparison of prices website so it's easier.
Overclocking: Yes, probably will do some, defenitly not in any extreme, just learning the topic.
SLI or Crossfire: no
Your Monitor Resolution: 4K
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: Just think it is time for a new computer, I want it to operate faster and upgrade my gaming experience (Latest BF for example, didn't work well, but that is true for everyone else as well )
thanks ahead for the help,
Oren.
